The State Road 441 project is still working on Sixth Street, but soon the focus will move to Willow Street improvement. Even though the work will be inconvenient for drivers and business in that area, INDOT spokesman Gary Bryan says the goal is to keep the problems to a minimum.
Even with the accommodations, INDOT crews remind everyone traffic will be slower on that part of Willow Street while work is happening. Drivers are encouraged to figure in extra time this summer when using the Willow Street corridor.
