Vincennes-based KCARC is getting some help to impore its learning experience at the Civitan Children’s Center. The help is being provided by a Vincennes City HELP grant; they will also use a grant from Early Learning Indiana.
Th4e work is designed to provide high quality integrated learning for children ov all ability levels. One of the changes is adding an eighth classroom, to take in ten to 14 more students. Further, the facility’s common area will provide several innovative improvements designed to enhance motor skills.
As a result of the upgrades, the Center will close next week, from May 12th to 16th, to make the changes. The Center will reopen Monday, May 19th; an open house to showcase the changes will be set at a later date.
