The Vincennes Community Schools’ summer food program will start May 30th in and around Vincennes. From May 30th through the end of June, there will be two days of “grab and go” meals, along with the normal breakfast and lunch “dine-in” option.
Tara Lips is with Sodexho, which is the food service provider for Vincennes’ branch of the summer food program. Lips knows the take out system has had a better reach than the in-person option. The pickup times will be from four to six p-m each Friday. Lips lays out the process for the grab and go food service through the end of June.
Starting in July, and through July 25th, a week of take home meals will be available in the Friday pickup. The exception is the meals set for giveaway on July fourth will be done the day before—from four to six on Thursday, July third. All pickups will happen in the front parking lot of Clark Middle School.
