The Vincennes Lincoln softball team scored seven runs in the last two innings to reverse a 6-1 deficit, and win 7-6 at Four Lakes Park over Evansville North. Addy Alton had a 2 for 3 night, including the game winning hit in the bottom of the 7th. Emma Cunningham also added two hits in the victory.
The Lady Alices improve to 10- 11, and 4-4 in the SIAC. They step out of conference tonight as they travel to Mount Vernon. Their final regular season home game will be Monday with Gibson Southern at Four Lakes Park.
He North Knox Warriors got out to a 14-0 lead, and wound up winning in five innings 14-2. Three hit games for Carter Becher and Coy VanMeter led the Warriors to the win. Levi Pahmeier gave up two hits and struck out 11 in the Warrior victory.
Physicals for North Knox High School will happen Saturday, June seventh from eight to 11 am. All students in fifth to 12th grades must have a physical form on record to participate in any North Knox sport. All students must be registered to attend the physical on June seventh. Registration forms are available through the North Knox School Website.
