Vincennes Water Utilities general manager Kirk Bouchie is looking ahead at long-term plans for the City’s water. The look ahead is at possible improvements, especially for the City’s water and stormwater services.
One plan is a possible water filtration system. However, Bouchie says that conversation is still years away. The other main focus is improvements on the City and Mantle ditches, and along Kelso Creek. Bouchie feels that work has to be considered—especially into 2026 and beyond.
The work is part of an overall long term plan to improve water service to Vincennes Water Utilities users.
