Construction of the Skelton Art Center at the Skelton Museum of American Comedy continues throughout this year. Red Skelton’s widow, Lothian Skelton, visited the art gallery site earlier this week, as part of a progress update.
Skelton Museum director Anne Pratt was also part of that tour. Pratt says progress is a bit slower than expected—but not so much it would delay the opening. Pratt also knows the art expansion will also feature a new opening for the Skelton Museum itself.
The entire Skelton museum complex, and the adjacent Red Skelton Performing Arts Center, is located on the campus of Vincennes University.
