Purdue Extension Knox County is offering a program in June for youth in grades 3 through 12 in which they learn how drones fly, drone rules and regulations, why drones can be dangerous, how to program drones and how to scout farm fields using planned and manual flight paths.
Participants will also receive hands-on drone flying experience.
The program will be held on Saturday June 21st at the Vincennes University Agricultural Center located at 42-07 Purdue Road.
It runs from 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. and participants may be dropped off beginning at 8:45 A.M.
The registration deadline is June 13th.
