The Vincennes-based Wabash Valley Friendship Clubhouse has earned a new three-year accreditation from the Clubhouse International Society. That renewal means the facility will not be analyzed again until 2028.
Cher Wehrman is in charge of the mental health and addiction care facility. Wehrman says a set of their Clubhouse peers do the actual survey. Along with the accreditation, the group will hold a public Open House on May 29th from two to four p-m. Wehrman gives the reason why they are re-opening for public tours that day…
The open house also marks the fifth anniversary of the Wabash Valley Friendship Clubhouse in Vincennes. Plans are also in the works to made a similar facility in Washington some time in the future.
