The latest state figures show Knox County back below three percent in jobless rate for the month of April, That puts the county 45th among the state’s 92 counties, with a rate of 2.9 percent.
Daviess County is tied with Union County for the lowest rate in Indiana, at 2.1 percent. Martin County is one tenth behind at 2.2 percent, with Gibson County one tenth higher than that, at.2.3 percent, with Sullivan County at 2.7 percent.
Pike County is equal to the state average, at 3 percent; Greene County is also at 3 percent for April.
