The Special Olympics Indiana Summer Games are coming up, and the Law Enforcement Torch Run is set tomorrow. Officers from across the state will gather in Indianapolis and Terre Haute to take part. They’ll carry the “Flame of Hope” to kick off the 2025 Summer Games.
In Terre Haute, a three-mile run begins at noon from the Hulman Center, with officers running alongside athletes. The flame will be used to light the cauldron during the opening ceremony, marking the official start of the games. Some Vincennes Special Olympians will compete in events in Terre Haute in June.
