Last nig ht at League Stadium, the Vincennes Lincoln Alices led 4-2 with one out in the 7th inning. However, they could nothold the lead, as Jasper scored two in the 7th to tie, and two in the 8th to win, 6-4. Brody Phillips had a 3 for 4 night for the Alices, with Luke Hall, Colton Wonning, and Will Hambrick with two hits apiece. The Alices end their season at 18-9.
The South Knox doubles team of Caroline Beard and Grace Carie won the individual doubles sectional title at Jasper, defeating Anniston Kelso and Liv Emmons from Barr-Reeve in straight sets.
That moves Beard and Carie to Indianapolis North Central, where they will play the Jeffersonville sectional winner on Saturday, June 7th.
