The Vincennes Board of Works has has approved its part for street closures and other needed permits for two coming summertime activities.
The first is for the coming Red Skelton Festival. The annual activity to honor the life and legacy of Vincennes native Red Skelton is planned for July 18th to 20th in Vincennes.
Board members also approved a closure of Sixth Street for the coming Summer on Main. That will be on Main Street from First to Sixth Streets; it will happen from six to ten p-m Friday, June 20th. The Board of Works also approved an easement for electrical work at the coming Fire Department Training Center in Vincennes.
All three of the requests were approved unanimously.
