Tomorrow is Deadline for Spirit of ’76 Nominations

The deadline for nominations for the annual “Spirit of ‘76” award close at the end of the business day tomorrow. The award is to recognize a Knox County resident who makes the community a better place thorugh personal involvement. This is the 50th year for the City to give out the Spirit of ’76 award.
Any entries should include a biography of the person nominated. Last year, the award went to Ellen Harper; the 2023 award winner was John Hidde.
