The White River has seen some minor flooding over the last few days—but now, those flood levels have crested and are falling.
The largest flood crest was about three feet over flood stage on the White River at Edwardsport. That happened yesterday; the river should be back to bankfull over the weekend. At Petersburg, the White topped out just above flood stage before starting its fall yesterday. On the Wabash River, conditions at both Vincennes and Mount Carmel stayed in their banks by at least a couple of feet.
Only one road closure was announced—that is on Old Vincennes Road in Daviess County near the Knox County line. That part of the road will be closed due to high water until further notice.
