Area Countrymark Co-Op stations will again be “Fueling Freedom” to support a support unit of the Indiana National Guard. This is the 17th year the stations will hold the “Fueling Freedom” event that day from noon to five p-m.
The event is hosted by Countrymark Co-Op parent group Keystone Cooperative. In Knox County, participating locations include the Melon Patch near Oaktown, and Speedy Pete’s at Monroe City.
Each year, the Fueling Freedom events have resulted in tens of thousands of dollars in donation to those National Guard support units.
