As summertime gets into full gear across the area, Knox County officials are doing what they can to encourage community growth.
Knox County Chamber of Commerce director Jamie Neal says encouraging activities is a large part of the overall growth strategy. Neal says buy-in by the public through volunteering is also a major part of the success of these activities.
