Traffic patterns in downtown Vincennes this weekend may be a little more difficult to handle, due to construction work. Vincennes Mayor Joe Yochum gives a couple of places where traffic may be a bit tougher to navigate for Fourth of July visitors downtown, INDOT will start its main work on Willow Street during evening hours in the days following the Fourth of July weekend. Mayor Yochum reminds everyone some patience and awareness are good things to remember when traveling downtown this weekend.
Various food trucks and other attractions will set up tomorrow afternoon downtown. The main City events include the annual Fourth of July parade at six p-m, and fireworks at dusk. Once again this year, the fireworks will be shot from the Lincoln Memorial Bridge in downtown Vincennes.
