The slow process continues toward putting he façade back in place on the Lincoln Memorial Bridge. G-R-C chief ranger Joe Herron was hoping to see actual physical work on the bridge now, but knows it will be a drawn-out process. Herron knows even though it may take a while, he can’t wait to get the iconic flag flying once again next to the bridge.
At this point, as has been the case the last couple of years, the façade stones are still sitting in a field near the French Commons.
