Road work continues across Knox County at this time. The road improvements are both for state grant-funded road work, and for county chip-seal operations.
Knox County Commissioners’ president T-J Brink says despite weather challenges, the County’s C-C-M-G projects are around 75 percent complete. Brink also credits County Highway workers for their chip-seal work on the county’s roads—especially in recent years.
This year’s chip-seal projects are being done first in central Knox County. After that, northern Knox County will get the road work, with Southern Knox County after that.
