Greene County Man Pleads Guilty to Murder

      A Greene County man charged with killing a woman and her son changed his plea to guilty Wednesday in Greene Circuit Court. 36-year-old Joshua Penick’s guilty plea to two counts of Murder was accepted by the court. Sentencing in the case is set for October 1st Penick’s plea was part of an agreement between the two sides. .
       Penick admitted to killing 36-year-old Samantha Jerrell and her 14-year-old son Colton and burying their bodies at Bear Run Mine in Sullivan County.
      Their bodies were found in October of last year.
