Good Samaritan Hospital has been honored with three awards from the American Heart Association this year. The Hospital won those awards as part of the Association’s “Get With the Guidelines” program.
The Hospital won a Gold Plus award for overall work against strokes, with a honor roll for targeting Type 2 Diabetes. They also got a Gold award for rural stroke procedures, and a Silver for work with coronary artery disease.
The Hospital’s work with strokes and heart disease happen through their Dayson Heart Center.
