Despite a rainy weekend, the Isaiah 1:17 House raised over seven-thousand dollars from a set of lemonade stands across Vincennes. Various groups and individuals joined together to help the group help displaced children in need due to legal proceedings.
Isaiah 1:17 House director Jacqueline Cunningham says a good number of places were out selling for the cause, despite poor weather. Cunningham is glad to say the final amount went well above the seven-thousand dollar mark last weekend.
The Isaiah 1:17 House is located on Hart Street Road near Vincennes, and just east of Lincoln High School.
