More information has been released on a Knox County weekend accident that led to the arrest of a Vincennes man.
Knox County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the accident on Hoods Road, just south of Vincennes. An investigation showed driver, 27 year-old Jared Cummins, was driving an off-road vehicle, while having a .277 blood-alcohol content. That is over three times the legal driving limit.
A passenger on the vehicle, 24 year-old Dawson Foster, suffered an open break to his left knee. Due to the injury, Cummins was arrested for operating while intoxicated causing serious bodily injury. He was booked into the Knox County Jail on ten-thousand dollars bond.
