On To the Babe Ruth World Series for Vincennes 14’s

The Vincennes Babe Ruth League 14 year-olds have qualified for the 14 year-old Babe Ruth World Series in Hot Springs Arkansas. The team punched its ticket with a 5-2 victory Ohio Valley Regional Championship win over the Eau Claire, Wisconsin A’s, as Cole Worland took a perfect game into the 7th inning, and ended up with seven strikeouts and no walks allowed.
Worland and catcher Cooper Neal were named players of the game for the Vincennes 14’s. Next up is a trip to Hot Springs, Arkansas for the Babe Ruth World Series. That will be held from August seventh to the 17th.
