Delay in Place for Re-Open of Bridge on Old U-S 50 in Daviess County

      The Daviess County Highway Department says the Indiana Department of Transportation has extended the closing of Old US Highway 50 between County Roads 200 West and 300 West for a bridge rehabilitation project.
      It had been scheduled to reopen following an 82-day closing.
      The delay is blamed on rain and flooding.
      Old 50 is now scheduled to reopen in two weeks on August 11th.
