The Isaiah 1:17 House is the recipient of the July quarterly gift from the 100 Women who Care. The group met last week and decided at that session to award the funding to the Isaiah 1:17 House. They were one of three groups up for the funding.
After all the money is turned in, the total amount given away is usually well over 10-thousand dollars. The night of the award, the Isaiah 1:17 House received around 45-hundred dollars. Each member of the group is being asked to give at least 100 dollars for the July selection, the Isaiah 1:17 House.
The Isaiah House is set up as a temporary stop-over for kids displaced in various legal proceedings. It is located on Hart Street Road, just east of Lincoln High School.
