Vincennes Board of Works Awards Sidewalk Contract

The Vincennes Board of Works approved the low bid of Myers Contracting yesterday for coming sidewalk work alongside Hart Street. The work will run along Hart from 15th Street to Veterans’ Memorial Drive. It will also tie in with an INDOT project from Veterans’ Memorial Drive to the U-S 41 overpass.
Myers had the lowest of three bids; their total wzs just under 282-thousand dollars. The bid was accepted, pending Myers’ delivery of a performance bond to Vincennes City Engineer John Sprague.
