Part of 231 to Close for Work Starting Monday, August 11th

Part of U-S 231 north of Loogootee will be affected by improvements starting Monday, August 11th. Work crews will cause 231 to close in two spots near Loogootee, and again near Crane. Crews will do a chip-seal process and general road maintenance as part of the scheduled upgrades.
The work will take about a week to complete, depending on weather. The detour will use I-69 and U-S 50. Local traffic will be controlled by a flagger, and will have access to the point of closure.
