KC Commissioners Discuss Budgetary Issues

The Knox County Commissioners discussed their line items as part of its meeting at Vincennes City Hall.
Among the issues they discussed is a potential five percent increase in health insurance cost for the next year. That rate would come in case of a renewal in the current health insurance policy. The Commissioners plan to ask the Knox County Council for some increased funding for the County’s family insurance plans.
Also, the deadline for insurance bids for the coming yearly renewal is set for Monday, August 11th. After the bids are submitted, Council will consider their options for the next year.
