Fire Strikes a House in Franklin Heights Area on Vincennes

A part of Wabash Avenue near Franklin Elementary was blocked off yesterday due to a fire in a house in the Franklin Heights area. The blaze caused the fire alarm to go off at nearby Franklin Elementary, but no fire was found inside the school itself.
Reports say family members got out of the structure safely. Firemen responded to the incident in the midday on Sunday. The fire itself was to a home just west of the U-S 41/ Wabash Avenue overpass.
