Alicia’s Law in Place in Illinois

      The Illinois State Police is celebrating the signing of Alicia’s Law.
      The new law expands the authority of ISP to investigate and stop online child exploitation.
      The measure is named after Alicia “Kozak” Kozakiewicz, the first widely reported internet-related child abduction victim.
      Alicia’s Law takes effect January 1st of 2026.
