If you are not a lover of summer and high temperatures, you may be out of luck for a while.
The National Weather Service expects hot weather to continue heating the area for a while to come.
A stray shower or two may bring some relief at times, but overall, temperatures in the upper 80’s to 90’s are expected to stay for the near future. At this point, week3end temperatures could get back into the low to mid 90’s. Long term, the first move back into the lower 80’s at this point is forecast for late next week.
