Knox County Sheriff’s Deputies have released more information on a traffic stop that resulted in arrest on State Road 67 and Church Road.
Deputies stopped a truck for speeding. A related search of the truck found nearly 700 grams of marijuana, along with scales, an alleged meth pipe, and illegal prescruiption medication. The driver, 39 year-old Joshua Barmes, was arrested on the various drug charges. A further investigation led authorities to a pair of Bicknell homes, where they found more marijuana and drug paraphernalia. After the residence searches, authorities arrested 43 year-old Tonya Riker and 39 year-old Nicole Sloan. Both are charged with dealing in marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and maintaining a common nuisance. Sloan is also charged with meth possession and possession of a hyperdermic needle.
Both women have bonded out of the Knox County Jail on five-thousand dollars bond each.
