Alforrdsville Community Center Gets Backing from Foundation

Daviess County;s Our Community Foundation recently awarded a $60,000 grant to the Merle Murphy Community Center.
      The grant was made possible by the TrueScripts Foundation Fund, a donor-advised fund held by the foundation.
      The Merle Murphy Community Center is the culmination of a family honoring their father’s legacy by bringing his vision of a community center in the old school gym in Alfordsville to life.
