Tomorrow is the big day for the NBC-Universal Greater Good “Clear the Shelters” event. The Vincennes Animal Shelter, and other shelters across this area, invites people to both donate toward, and to adopt, dogs and cats in need of forever homes.
Vincennes Animal Shelter director Leah Raigen knows the problem isn’t just here—it’s everywhere. Raigen says the need is constant—and constantly increasing.
At this time, eight people have donated 425 dollars to the Clear the Shelters event. Donations will be accepted during tomorrow’s event, and online through September 15th. More information is available on the Vincennes Animal Shelter’s Facebook page.
