Vincennes Mayor Joe Yochum and Knox count y Indiana Economic Development director Chris Pfaff will travel to Japan early next month. The trip is part of a broader Indiana delegation who will head the trip to the Far East.
Pfaff says the Japanese trip is part of the County’s overall retention and expansion strategy. At this time, two Japanese companies—Excell and Futaba—have locations in Knox County. Pfaff knows local visits to Japan hold a dear place in Japanese culture.
The last trip for local officials to Japan happened two years ago, in 2023.
