Updated information has been released in the arrest of a Chicago man on drug charges. It happened after a vehicle crashed into a pole at the intersection of South 6th Street Road and Williams Road.
When deputies arrived on the scene, they found two men standing next to the crashed vehicle on the side of the roadway.
The driver was identified as 34-year-old Jeffrey Jackson, and the passenger as 47-year-old Jeremy Scott.
Scott, from Chicago, was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Legend Drug, Illegal Possession of a Hypodermic Needle, and Possession of Paraphernalia.
Jackson was found not to be impaired.
He was not injured in the crash, and was released following the investigation.
