Thousands of Ford vehicles are affected by a recall.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says 100-thousand F-150 pickups are being recalled because “the rear axle hub bolt may fatigue and break, which can result in damage to the axle hub splines” and increase the risk of crash.
Dealers are expected to replace the left and right rear axle shaft assemblies, free of charge.
