Two Vincennes leaders are less than a week away from heading with an Indiana delegation to Japan. Vincennes Mayor Joe Yochum and Knox County Industrial Development director Chris Pfaff will leave the country on Thursday of next week. The group will be on the Asian conference for about ten days. It is part of a bigger expedition, including Indiana and Midwest government and business leaders.
Mayor Yochum reminds everyone the trip is about business—and adding more business to the Hoosier State. The Mayor also plans to speak with two Japanese companies that have already put down firm roots in Knox County.
Last year, executives from the two countries met in Columbus, Ohio. Next year’s session will meet in Indianapolis. The meetings shift between Japan and the American Midwest every two years.
