SK School Board Lays Out 2025 Budget Info

The South Knox School Board has approged a just over 19 million dollar budget for ths coming year. The budget is up nearly 2.3 million dollars for last year’s total, with nearly all of that increase coming from a rise in the Operations fund. The final advertized tax levy for the district is being advertised at nearly 64 cents per 100 dollars in assessed property value.
The budget was laid out in a public hearing during this week’s South Knox School Board session. It will be up for final adoption during the next South Knox School Board meeting in October.
