The Vincennes Community School Board has approved on first reading a sweeping set of changes to the Corporation’s proposed policy and guidelines. Superintendent Greg Parsley told the Board the changes were due to recommended state and federal language changes to the policies.
Among the proposed revision areas include school visitors, dress code regulations, and bullying. The revised bullying language includes prioritizing the safety of the victim, time limits for parental notification of both parties, and setting a detailed investigation of acts of alleged bullying involving students.
The entire revised list of changes is available through Vincennes Community Schools.
