Duke Energy Plant Focus of Code RED Test Thursday

 The Duke Energy Edwardsport IGCC Plant in partnership with the Knox County Emergency Management Agency and Knox County Local Emergency Planning Committee, will conduct an 8.7-mile radius test of the CodeRED Alerting System on Thursday between 1:00-1:30pm.
      The alert may be received by registered CodeRED users in Knox and Daviess County via voice phone call, text, email, and through the CodeRED app.
      The CodeRED Alerting System is a FREE service that provides high speed mass notification via your cell phone.
