Temperatures in Indiana will be in the 80’s to lower 90’s in this area for the rest of the week. With low humidity and drying fuels, there’s a potential for an elevated fire threat, but the National Weather Service says light winds should help mitigate the risk. However, a shift is expected over the weekend when cooler temperatures arrive along with chances for rain, especially to the east and northeast. There will also be at least slight changes of rain in this area over the weekend as well.
The National Weather Service in Indianapolis says temperatures will stay in that 80 degree range for the rest of the month.
