Lawrence County Illinois Board Approves Two Bridge Repair Projects

The Lawrence County Illinois Board has approved an 800-thousand dollar bridge fixing agreement for its span over Indian Creek on Old Porter Road. The bridge is located just west of Lawrenceville.
Board members also approved its part of a joint federal funding agreement in northern Lawrence County at Brushy Park, just west of the community of Birds. The County will put up a 40-thosuand dollar match as its part to the federal bridge repair project.
No timetable for either project is set yet at this time.
