All four Knox Coutny school corporations will receive grant funding for better future school safety measures. The funding was announced by both Knox County state representatives—Matt Hostettler and Bruce Borders.
Vincennes Community schools got the largest amount, at 92-thosand, 500 dollars. Flaget Elementary was next at over 78-thousand, 600 dollars. North Knox Schools got over 46-thousand dollars, with South Knox Schools pulling in over 33-thosuand dollars. Finally, Rivet Junior-Senior High School was granted over 21-thousand dollars.
The funding is part of over 27 million dollars given out to schools in safety-related grants this year.
