FIA to Expand in 41 Industrial Park

The Knox County Council has approved a 12 million dollar expansion for its property at the U-S 41 Industrial Park. The abatement will cover expansion of property, and new equipment in the proposed expansion. The new property includes manufacturing, development, and logistic resources.
The new expansion is expected to add 20 new jobs, and over 717-thousand dollars in payroll. The abatement will be over ten years, with a ten percent rate decrease each year.
Council approved the expansion abatement unanimously.
