Curbside leaf collection begins today in Vincennes and will last until mid-December.
Residents are asked not to mix limbs and other objects with their leaves as this will clog up the intake hoses on the leaf vacuums.
Crews will not pick up piles of leaves with sticks and limbs mixed in.
Limbs can be dropped off at the city’s collection site on Old Terre Haute Road.
Also, leaf pickup in Washington is scheduled to begin today.
Residents are reminded that leaves must be raked to the curb, not into the street area.
The areas for pick-up will be published in the Washington Times Herald.
There will be two complete rounds made through the city streets and one complete round through the alleys.
