The Vincennes Redevelopment Commission has given 65-hundred dollars in funding to the Vincennes Tree Board for tree replacements.
Tree Board member Dennis Kordes says they are preparing to replace trees that were damaged by storms or other weather problems. Kordes assures everyone the R-D-C funding will be used in the proper places across Vincennes.
The Tree Board may also ask the City officials for leftover tree budget funds to further improve the tree stock across Vincennes.
