This year’s Knox County “Shop with a Cop” will be held again on the second Tuesday of December. This year, it will be held on them orning of Tuesday, December ninth at the Vincennes Wal-Mart.
Vincennes Police Chief Jon Hillenbrand says like previous years, Shop with a Cop will provide many Head Start kids will a great Christmas.
The morning starts with a police escort to Wal-Mart, followed by kids and cops shopping together. High schoolers from across Knox County also are on hand to help with the effort each year.
