The PACE Community Action Agency is still getting its funding together from this fall’s extended government shutdown. One of the funding that is just now getting back into focus was the money for PACE’s Head Start program.
PACE spokeswoman Courtney Welage knows during the shutdown, they got a lot of support of all types from various groups. Welage does know some of the PACE programs were put on hold for a bit, while the government shutdown droned on.
With the return of the federal funding, PACE is slowly getting everything back to normal at this time.
